Music Audition Registration

All applicants for the Music major must schedule an audition for admission to the Tell School of Music.

Music majors in Performance, Music Education, and Music Industry are required to complete four components: 
  • Solo Performance
  • Aural Assessment
  • Music Theory Written Evaluation
  • Interview
Music minors are required to complete: 
  • Solo Performance
  • Aural Assessment
  • Music Theory Written Evaluation
  • Interview (transfer students only)

Audition days start at 9:15 a.m. on select dates and end by 2:30 p.m., with lunch provided. Participants are welcome to join the large ensemble at 2:30 p.m. on specific audition days.

Please dress professionally.

Please note: Current university students will be excused from classes, and high school students will receive an excuse note for the day.
